If I had to have a Christmas tree,
it would be as compact and inviting
as a log fire.
Understated yet bright and nourishing,
like a piping hot roast dinner on a
bitter Sunday winter evening.

Yes.
This got me looking at my Christmas tree, which seems oddly cold and 'icy' this year. A move to energy efficient lights has not heightened the desired 'roast dinner' effect.
Off to do something about that.
